Therefore, when we had time in school, she often came to me and we would talk about many things. Though I didn’t have special feelings about this friend, I was fine with this because I didn’t see the reason why I should say “no” to a friend I didn’t hate.
But there was a while when she came to me, and usually said nothing meaningful. I started to feel tired and then tried not to meet her. After that she never came to me. Though guilty, I started to feel free about my life and never thought of anything about her feeling.

Though the ways of teaching have come a long way, the ways of communicating between teachers and students are almost the same. But now, a European country is trying to change that by building schools that have no classrooms, no subject lessons and best of all, no grades.
The idea behind the special school is that children are creative. And researchers also think that kids’ learning and ideas are as important as those of the CEO of Google, so why not give them a similar environment? Kids may be successful in such an environment.
To make kids more creative, the schools are built with special learning areas instead of traditional classrooms. And even the lessons are taught in a special way, with mobile phones and computers.
There is no “right” or “wrong” kind of education. The school believes that everything is a learning experience, whether it is about a serious science project or making a movie inside the school’s recording studio.
One of the special schools opened in August, 2011. It has five learning areas. The Cave is a secluded place where students fix their attention on individual (个人的) projects without being bothered (打扰). The Lab is a place where students can do all kinds of experiments and test their ideas. Kids can work in groups in the same projects in The Camp Fire. The Show Off is where kids can show their inventions. And if the kids need a rest, they can visit The Watering Hole, which has all kinds of fun activities.

In today’s Internet age, the need for online games continues to grow. There are online computer game centers in many cities and towns throughout Asia. Facing the pressures of school and life, people like to relax in the virtual (虚拟的) world, expecting a diversion from these problems. Often, however, they can lead to problems and unhealthy addictions (成瘾).
This is most clearly seen in the example of South Korea. The country has the world’s highest percentage of high-speed internet services. Your parents always tell you that a good education is the key to a successful future. For those of you who have graduated from high school, the promise you made to finish your schooling has been completed. Another few years in some college classroom just doesn’t sound too attractive; so what are your choices? Let’s see, Choice 1—You can live with your parents and basically do nothing. Or Choice 2—You could get yourself a job. Of course, there are other choices, but for this little discussion, we’ll just suppose that they aren’t related.
Okay, so Choice 2 is obviously going to be more productive (有效的). You will finally be entering the real world. What would be a good place to start? Well, hopefully high school helped to give you some sort of an idea of what type of job you would like to enter. If not, then it would be a good idea to speak with an advisor or a person working in the field you may be interested in before you jump into a job that you won’t like. Gaining knowledge on a particular line of work beforehand can be good by helping you in your search to find the job that you will enjoy doing. Another reason to research jobs and get some hands on work is related to the fact that it will also be helpful in providing you with some valued experience. Internships (见习) or volunteering are usually a good place to start.
If you are ready to begin a job after high school, you will clearly be saving money from college cost and happily making a living in your chosen jobs. From another point of view, jumping into the workforce is sometimes the only way to see for yourself if you are ready to work a 40-hour week yet. If you decide that full time work is not what you are ready for, then this may suggest that you should go back to school and get a degree. Besides, a college degree will usually mean higher pay.
